Dear Business Leaders,
Our mission is to develop and support the entrepreneurial spirit in Alachua. Since our beginning in 2003, the Alachua Business League has sponsored two downtown tourism events each year:
Alachua Spring Festival
Alachua Harvest Festival
Through these events we draw several thousand people to our downtown business district to dine, shop and explore. If you wish to support the continuation of downtown events, please join the Alachua Business League (ABL) to promote local business growth and maintain our friendly, inclusive, hometown atmosphere.
ABL Membership entitles you to one free booth at each of the festivals. We also invite you to our casual monthly meetings to discuss local issues, to promote your business through networking, to have a voice in local economic development, to take advantage of various group-advertising rates, and to participate in the development of the central business district.
Through funds raised we are able to provide an annual college scholarship as well as support other local programs.
We invite you to become an ABL member by completing the attached application and mailing it to P.O. Box 879, Alachua, FL 32616 along with your membership check made to Alachua Business League, Inc.
With your involvement we will continue to make Alachua a great place to live and work. The Alachua Business League’s mission is to encourage all Alachua businesses and organizations to work together to achieve a greater success for everyone while maintaining our high quality of life. Meetings are monthly, officers are elected annually, and every member is encouraged to participate.
